Dennis E. Black Engineering, Inc. (DEBEI) is a professional engineering and surveying firm located in Chambersburg, PA. The company was incorporated in 1965 as Arrowood, Incorporated. The firm was renamed Dennis E. Black Engineering, Inc. in March of 1987 when Dennis Black purchased 100% of the outstanding common stock. The assets of Dougal and McCans, Inc., a small surveying firm located in Chambersburg, were purchased in 1988. The assets of G & S Surveys of McConnellsburg, PA were purchased in 2004, providing the company's first satellite office.  Most recently,  Mr. Black was named the 2008 Business Person of the Year by the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce for his outstanding leadership, community involvement, and his promotion of economic development within the county.

OUR competitive advantage to clients is the ability to handle many of our projects internally thereby allowing the client to receive a quality product with the convenience of using one engineering firm.
